world series of darts

POWER CANT HANDLE THE BOOS
In the semi-finals of the of the world series of darts Phil Taylor must have found it difficult as he was booed during the match but Peter Wright was able to get over the line to win the match with a break 11-9,
MVG ON TOP LEVEL
In the other semi on Sunday night Michael van Gerwin took control and just took care of Adrian Lewis winning by 11 legs to 5 and did look a class apart from the Englishman.

MVG WINS MAJOR CROWN

The final between Van Gerwin and Wight was won by Van Gerwin by one leg in a thriller of a match. It must have been difficult for him to play in this kind of atmosphere as he was booed at certain times in the tournament.

15-11-15 GRAND SLAM OF DARTS

VAN GERWIN ON TOP OF THE TREE

Michael Van Gerwin became the youngest darts player to have won all four majors.

First was a semi-final win over Michael Smith after cruising to a 16-6 and Michael Van Gerwen looked to be on fire.

For Phil Taylor Raymond Van Barneveld gave Phil a much more competitive semi-final where until the end of the matchyou  could never be sure who would win Phil won 16-12

The final of the Grand slam Micael showed that he had got the3 class of a champion by beating the best in the world by 3 clear legs and showed that he has got the potential to be a true great in the sport to do that he has to get ahead of people like Eric Bristow and John Lowe but I think he has it

13-11-15 grand slam of darts

THURSDAY RESULTS

VAN GERWIN PLAYING LIKE A DREAM

Micheal van Gerwin showed that he had many levels more to reach in his Quarter final with Steve Beaten. He took complete control of the match and did allow Beaton into the game as he won the match by 10 legs to 2. I ask the question could he be a bigger name in the world of darts than Phil Taylor as he is still so young

WELCOME TO THE PARTY MARTIN

Martin Adams in this match has shown that he can throw darts with the best darts players in the world in this really close last 16 matches. This type of match also shows me that Hybrechys from Belgium has the bottle when needed to win a close match and that is something he might need come Christmases.

SMITH STILL SHOWING HE CAN COME THROUGH FOR WORLDS

Micheal smith besat one of the fans favourites at the world championships this year but as he goes into the next round we will get to see what type of a player Smith can be in the world of darts.

DID WIGHT HYPE HIMSELF TO DEFEAT

Peter wright with the stage hair and boiling up the crowd did not seem to have the match to back up this type of performance as he lost the throw twice and to do that and be who he is not the best at getting the crowd to what he wants them to do. Adrian Lewis did not react to it and turned away and it did not Affect Aldrin during the match at all

THORNTON DESERVES SHOT AT TOP TABLE

Robert Thornton, the World Grand Prix champion, had opened the night with a 10-8 win, despite a classy 170 checkout from his opponent Robbie Green.

POWER JUST POWERS ON

Phil Taylor showed is class last night after losing control of the match in the first session he was able to win five legs in a row to lead 6-4. After that he was able to take a grip on the match to win the match with one more break to win the match by 10 legs to 6against Terry Jenkins

LITTLE WELSH WONDER

Mark Webster knocks World Champion Gary Anderson out of the Grand Slam of Darts, with a 10-6 victory

BARNEY SHOWS HE STILL HAS CLASS

James Wade seemed to be control of this match at 7 legs to 4 but Barney put in an incredible performance winning 6 legs in a row win this match and secure a spot in the quarters.
