VAN GERWIN ON TOP OF
THE TREE
Michael Van Gerwin became the youngest darts player to have
won all four majors.
First was a semi-final win over Michael Smith after cruising
to a 16-6 and Michael Van Gerwen looked to be on fire.
For Phil Taylor Raymond Van Barneveld gave Phil a much more competitive
semi-final where until the end of the matchyou could never be sure who would win Phil won
16-12
The final of the Grand slam Micael showed that he had got
the3 class of a champion by beating the best in the world by 3 clear legs and
showed that he has got the potential to be a true great in the sport to do that
he has to get ahead of people like Eric Bristow and John Lowe but I think he
has it
