Robert Thornton, the World Grand Prix champion, had opened the night with a 10-8 win, despite a classy 170 checkout from his opponent Robbie Green.

Phil Taylor showed is class last night after losing control of the match in the first session he was able to win five legs in a row to lead 6-4. After that he was able to take a grip on the match to win the match with one more break to win the match by 10 legs to 6against Terry Jenkins

Mark Webster knocks World Champion Gary Anderson out of the Grand Slam of Darts, with a 10-6 victory

BARNEY SHOWS HE STILL HAS CLASS
 

James Wade seemed to be control of this match at 7 legs to 4 but Barney put in an incredible performance winning 6 legs in a row win this match and secure a spot in the quarters.
