Third round
This was an epic of a game between the 2 best Dutch darts
players in the world and it was one that everybody said Michael Van Gerwin
would win but the set format suited Van Barneveld as he was able to take sets
of Van Gerwin when needed. Van Gerwin had a 105 average while Van Barneveld had
a 98 and that was what made it so amazing.
Gary Anderson from Scotland showed that he was a potential champion
with this very confortable win over Vincent Van Der Vort. He cruised into the
last 8 with a 4-0 win and look to be one to watch out for going forward.
Adrian Lewis ruined the dream of Serbian Austrian Mensur
Suljovic as he took him apart by 4 sets to 0 and looks good as a potential champion
