NEW ZEALAND 55-48
JAMICA
NEW ZEALAND ON TOP
OF THEIR CLASS
Remala Akin scored 40 goals but lost in her match against
New Zealand as they had more of a team performance. This game was very close
during periods in the second and 3rd quarter but New Zealand were
able to show there class in the end. Jamaica did lead this match but two goals
at different points in the game. New
Zealand is showing the class of champions and will be one of the ones to watch
out for.
AUSTRILIA 51-41 ENGLAND
AUSTRILIA SHOW THEY
CAN STILL BE CHAMPIONS
Australia had control of this match from the beginning and
never allowed England to be in nervous range. They did lead by 25 points to 20 at
half time. There were some major injury worries for Jane Claude as an Australian
went for the ball and hit her badly in the 4th quarter. Australia has
shown in this match that they will be very difficult to beat and maybe the
group match was a fluke.
WALES 40-68 SOUTH
AFRICA
WALES SIMPLY
OUTCLASSED
Earlier today wales found it very difficult against a tough
South African side as they lost 31-21 to a team ranked no 5 in the world and
this to me says it was an achievement for Wales to get into the second round. ,South
Africa had a third Quarter winning it by 24 goals to 8.
MALOWI 59-53 UGANDA
MALOWI WIN TIGHT
GAME
Malawi showed how important form can be with a very close
win over Uganda in this difficult match. To me this says that Malowi have the potential
to be world champions and a match like this can definitely only help them.
