SWIMMING WORLD
CHAMPIONSHIPS
For me swimming is something that every country has got an interest
in from the giants to the little nations. I have got hop this week that Great Britain and Ireland win a few medals in the pool and hope that both countries do well.
In the Men’s 100m Breaststroke Great Britain got both a
gold and a bronze as Adam Peaty won gold in 58.2 seconds. Ross Murdock won bronze
with a time of 59.09 in silver position
was South African Cameron Van Der Burgh who just got under 59 seconds with
58.59
Another British medal
came in the women’s 200m Individual Medley where Siobhan Maria O’Connor managed to secure a British bronze with a time
of 2:08.77. she was behind Kanako Watanabe from Japan who got a silver medal
with a time of 2:08.45. You can not deny
the awesomeness of 1 Katinka Hosszu from Hungary who got a world record time in
this final swim with a time of 06.12secs
In the men’s 50 metre 50metre Butterfly Florent Manaudou from France
won France won gold in 22.97secs silver went to Nicholas Santos from Brazil who got a time of 23.09 Laszlo Cseh from Hungary managed to win
bronze with a time of 23.1
In the 100m Butterfly Sarah Sjostrom from Sweden got a world record
in a time of 55.64 seconds in the 100
metre butterfly silver went to Jeanette Ottesen Denmark who get the time of 57.05 and third place went to Chine4ase
swimmer Ying Lu 57.48 lets hop that
results like this can help Chinese swimming
